Dr. Jon Hullings 

Dr. Jon Hullings, a Wichita native, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas. He graduated with honors from UMKC Dental School in 1987 and received a Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of Tennessee in 1989. Dr. Hullings is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction earned by only 20% of all orthodontists.

Dr. Hulling's professional memberships include the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association. He is also a past president of the Wichita District Dental Society. Dr. Hullings regularly attends continuing education seminars to keep current on the latest technologies and treatment techniques, and he participates in an orthodontic study club with colleagues from around the state.

Dr. Hullings believes that orthodontics is about much more than straightening teeth. Proper fit and function will help ensure the long-term health, as well as the beauty, of a smile. As an orthodontic specialist, Dr. Hullings has the advanced training and special skills required to manage tooth movement and guide facial development. He is dedicated to providing excellent orthodontic treatment through quality service and technical expertise.

Dr. Hullings was named by his colleagues as one of Wichita’s Top Dentists in a survey conducted by The Wichita Register magazine. He was the original Wichita Advisory Board Chairman of Smiles Change Lives, which provides orthodontic treatment for children who would otherwise not have access to care.

Dr. Hullings and his wife, Carrie, have three sons.

Our Team

It’s the people that make a practice, and we are especially proud of ours. The first priority of our friendly and caring staff is to serve your needs. Our front office team has the experience to answer any questions you may have regarding scheduling, billing arrangements and insurance. Each clinical team member is AOA certified and has had extensive practical training. Our clinical team assists Dr. Hullings with treatment appointments and will be able to answer your questions about how your orthodontic treatment is progressing.

We understand and respect your expectation that you will receive the highest quality of orthodontic treatment. At every appointment, the teeth are in a different position. It’s best to assess these changes as they occur and adjust treatment accordingly. Only an orthodontist is qualified to make judgments about your individual treatment, which is why Dr. Hullings will personally evaluate your progress at every active treatment appointment.

Ginny – Treatment Coordinator/Receptionist Ginny has enjoyed being a part of Hullings Orthodontics since 2005 when she moved to Kansas from Florida. Ginny loves kids and particularly loves watching them grow during their time with us. She attended the University of Florida and is a big Gators fan. Ginny is passionate about reading, music and live theater events, but loves spending time with her husband, Josh, and their two spoiled dogs the most.

Cathy – Treatment Coordinator/Receptionist Cathy has been serving patients at Hullings Orthodontics since 2000. She enjoys helping families with the financial and insurance part of orthodontic treatment. Her husband and two beautiful daughters are her pride and joy. Cathy is also an Oklahoma native and is a big fan of the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Amy – Receptionist/Scheduling Coordinator Amy is a Derby girl, who joined the Hullings team in 2012. Her sweet, smiling face is one of the first you’ll see when you visit our office. She is married with 3 children and likes gardening, travel, and new movies. Amy is also a San Diego Chargers fan and enjoys watching as many Chargers games as she can.

Joann – Clinical Technician Joann joined the Hullings Orthodontics team in 1991, and she’s enjoyed building relationships with our patients and their families ever since. She has two grown children and two granddaughters. Her favorite days are when they are home for family meals and celebrations. During basketball season, Joann especially enjoys rooting on the Jayhawks with her son. Joann’s two beagles, Gertie and Gilbert, keep her and her husband busy walking in the park as often as possible.

Melody – Clinical Technician Melody and her warm personality have been a part of Hullings Orthodontics since 1993. She is married with two daughters and enjoys sewing, reading, and old movies. She also loves to spend time with her two sweet pups, Buddy and Roscoe.

Angela – Clinical Technician Angela has been working in the field of orthodontics since 1996 and joined the team at Hullings Orthodontics in 2012. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, especially camping and boating. There is a special place in her heart for animals and she loves being around her family and friends.

Sarah – Clinical Technician After completing dental assistant training here in Wichita, Sarah joyfully started her career in orthodontics with Dr. Hullings in 2011. She has excelled and enjoys getting to know our patients. Sarah likes to read and cook, but her favorite time is that spent with her husband and their 4 year old son.

Pacita – Clinical Technician Pacita grew up in Wichita until 2002, when she decided to serve our country by joining the US Army. After her time in the service, Pacita worked in general dentistry in Virginia Beach. In 2010, she had the opportunity to move back to the Wichita area and has been with Hullings Orthodontics since that time. She has 3 wonderful sons and enjoys spending as much time with them as possible.

Alex – Clinical Technician Alex became a part of the Hullings Orthodontics team in 2012. She is a Nebraska native who has enjoyed working in the dental field since 2003. Alex loves spending time with her fiancé, Kenton, and their puppy, Mack, and likes traveling, cooking, reading, fishing, and swimming.

Sandy – Records Coordinator Sandy, who has extensive experience in the orthodontic field, has been taking expert photographs, x-rays, and impressions for Dr. Hullings since 2006. She enjoys hiking, sewing, baking and volunteering. Sandy also spends time training and playing with her Miniature Australian Shepherd, Stella.

Megan – Records Coordinator Megan joined the Hullings Orthodontics team in 2012. She attended Garden City Community College and Dakota Wesleyan University, graduating with a degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor. Throughout her college career, Megan enjoyed playing softball. She enjoys the antics of her cat, Munchkin, and loves to root on the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.

Kate – Laboratory Technician Kate joined the Hullings Orthodontics team in 2010 and has been meticulously making appliances in our lab ever since. She loves to spend time with her fiancé, Aaron, and their puggle, Dexter. Kate also likes bike riding, reading, cooking, and swimming.
